Our Story

Gotchaa Lab started in Kuala Lumpur with a straightforward observation: too many Malaysian businesses were paying premium prices for generic software that didn't fit their actual workflows. Off-the-shelf tools built for Western markets often missed the nuances of doing business in Malaysia — from local payment gateways like Billplz and iPay88 to WhatsApp-first customer communication and bilingual Bahasa Malaysia/English interfaces.

We set out to change that. As a team of engineers who grew up in the Malaysian tech ecosystem, we understood the local landscape firsthand. We knew which problems needed solving because we had lived through them — as developers, as startup founders, and as consumers of local digital products.

Today, we work with startups, SMEs, and established enterprises across Malaysia. Our portfolio spans fintech trading platforms, IoT fleet management systems, education SaaS tools, and data automation engines. How We Work

On the backend, we use Node.js, Python, and Go depending on the performance and scalability requirements of each project. For data and AI workloads, we deploy on Google Cloud and AWS infrastructure within the Southeast Asia region.
